The workshop addressed the cardinal issues of the dark universe today, gathering a selected
number of scientists working in cosmology and particle physics in the inspiring and monumental
setting of Avignon. There has been a limited number of review talks by leading experts in each
field, fostering thorough and hopefully lively debates. Ample time was allocated to all the
discussion sessions on the issues introduced during the reviews. There has been also a small number
of contributions on special topics.
