  • Research subjects:

Statistical physics: glass transition, spin glasses, disordered systems, random matrices and applications to financial markets.

Condensed matter: quantum glasses, supersolids, quantum systems out of equilibrium, Mott transition, high temperature superconductors.

  • Beg Rohu summer school: I organize, in collaboration with A. Lefèvre (and with the help of C. Godreche), the Beg Rohu summer school of statistical physics and condensed matter. (The picture above, it's me working very hard as a director of the 2008 session of the Beg Rohu summer school).

  • Lectures: Recently, I gave a series of graduate lectures at the "école doctorale de physique de la région parisienne" about "Glass Transition and out of equilibrium systems". Here you find the lecture notes written by T. Sarlat as well as a crash course I wrote few years ago on slow dynamics and a short review on the glass transition.
