Presentation
The
Enrage topical school
"ON GROWTH AND SHAPES" consists of five introductory courses designated for PhD students and posdocs in physics and mathematics.
The aim is a pedagogical presentation of basic concepts.
At the end the audience should be well prepared to understand the current trends of research.
It will take place in Paris at the
Institut Henri Poincaré from
June 2 to June 6, 2008.
There will be ample time and space for discussions and interactions between the participants.
It is followed by the 13th Itzykson Meeting PUZZLES OF GROWTH in Saclay
Program
M. Drmota - Recursive Trees
T. Kennedy -
Numerical Simulations of Random Curves
S. Redner -
Evolving Random Graphs
H. Saleur -
Super-sigma models and random geometry
P. Wiegmann - Laplacian Growth, Evolution of conformal Maps and Singularities of growing Patterns
Bonus! Introductory lecture notes on SLE by M. Bauer and D. Bernrard
