The past few years saw remarkable advances in applying integrability techniques to strings on AdS3 backgrounds. The AdS/CFT correspondence suggests that such string theories should admit an alternative description as two-dimensional conformal field theories, and more specifically as symmetric-product orbifold CFTs. It is therefore natural to ask if and that an integrable structure manifests itself in those CFTs. In my talk I will review the integrability approach to AdS3/CFT2, introduce the relevant symmetric-product orbifold CFTs, and speculate that they might admit a description as integrable spin-chains with long-range interactions.
