Exclusive production of high-mass central system is viewed as an important discovery channel due to the clean final state and to the possibility of reconstructing the mass of the centrally produced particle via different methods. In view of the recent exclusive dijet data from CDF RunII, we critically re-evaluate the standard models and calculations of such events in hadronic collisions at the TEVATRON and LHC. The calculations will be presented and we shall detail the higher orders and soft corrections that are dominated by the non-perturbative region and can lead to large uncertainties. The calculation is then compared to the dijet data and this allows us to study and reduce some of these uncertainties. Moreover, this first step can be used as a basis for the study of other exclusive high-mass system production and leads to prediction for the Higgs boson exclusive production at LHC.
